Welcome to REMNSCNT
Hi my name is Jintamani. I am from an island in the Pacific where the idea of home and history are one and the same. I grew up visiting New Zealand, with my grandparents, where we would drive town to town visiting antique stores.
A favourite place to visit was the old store location of my great grandparents who owned a Vintage store in Wellington.
My grandparents insisted on teaching me about every cup, every record we bought. I began to understand that history is entwined with being human, the good the bad the absolutely stunning.
I have quietly taken my love of antiquities with me, into adulthood. From my own homes, to my first business, a café bakery that I owned and ran in the islands. From cutlery, to cane, plates to pillows, I became a treasure hunter.
REMNSCNT is a place for all these treasures to rest their head, before making their way to a forever home. Your home perhaps? Because some sweet memories, haven’t actually happened yet.
